An agriculture equipment operator (AEO) handles farm machinery for multiple operations including soil preparation, crop planting, harvesting and crop processing. An AEO drives and controls farm equipment for turning over and breaking up soil. Besides that, an AEO also performs operations for hay bailing, husking, shelling, threshing and ginning.
1.Adjusting, repairing and providing machineries for farms
2.Understanding and resolving with farm supervisor whenever machinery malfunctions
3.Mixing crop materials and chemicals into planter or sprayer machinery
4.Handling soil including mixing fertilizers, breaking and cleaning etc.
An AEO can become an Agriculture equipment manager and then progress to become the Head of Agriculture production.
The AEO is involved in maintaining and controlling machines. AEO looks after all farm operations such as tilling, planting seeds, fertilizing plants, harvesting crops and others.
Finding the right problem in the machine and repairing them is a key role of this job. Malfunction can occur suddenly time, so troubleshooting and resolving issues is critical.
An AEO should know local speaking language because they have to communicate with the supervisor or the plant owner.
The average salary is Rs. 75,000 000 to 1,20, 000 per annum. Sometimes the pay is on an hourly basis, and it depends on the plant owner on how many hours the machine should run.
There is no specific qualification required. But it is helpful if you hold a high school diploma, or training from a vocational institute in agriculture equipment operations.
