Coordinator

The role of a Coordinator in the education sector is a critical role. They ensure compliance to the delivery standards planned and ensure adherence to the processes laid out.Coordinators are important from a quality perspective, especially since education is still delivered through brick and mortar models and dependent upon individuals.
They also ensure that proper reporting is taking place, and they also generate reports to showcase performance to the management.

1.Quality of education delivery and/ or training delivery
2.Monitoring of process adherence, and progress of students
3.The coordinators act as consultants to the teachers or trainers and help them stay on track
4.Since coordinators have a good view of everything that is going on, their feedback to the management for improvement of performance is important
5.They track reporting and generate, and prepare reports for the management

The coordinators can progress to senior coordinators, then to team leader, and eventually progress to becoming the Operations Head.

Detail oriented

Coordinators have to be detail oriented since everything needs to be tracked by them. They act as gatekeepers, and ensure that all processes and guidelines are followed.

Teamwork

Coordinators are required to work with the teachers, trainers as well as the management. Hence, it is important that they comfortable working in teams.

Social focus

The learning of the students is of prime importance, and the coordinators must keep that in mind at all times. Nothing should be sacrificed in terms of student learning.

Starting salary of a coordinator is likely to be between Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 25,000 per month. With experience, the salary can increase to Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 40,000 per month.

There is no specific requirement to become a coordinator, but a degree in education or project management or operations is helpful.
